Mission Statement

It is our goal to provide you with the same optimal care we would expect for our own family members. We will strive to provide unsurpassed customer service in a kind, compassionate and fun environment. It is our heartfelt belief that it is a privilege to be allowed to assist you in achieving your goals. It is imperative that you also commit to taking an active role in achieving those goals. We will do our best to accommodate your busy schedule, and we refuse to allow any financial limitations to interfere with the care you deserve. We vow to work as a team to utilize all of our expertise and resources to help you restore your body’s function, maximize your performance, and prevent further injury.

Note: Most people are unaware of the fact that they do not need a referral from a physician for physical therapy services. Often times, it makes sense to come to us directly as we are usually much more educated regarding musculoskeletal injuries(including neck and back pain), than most family physicians and general pediatricians.

What to Expect

After calling and scheduling an appointment, please arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to your first appointment, which will be an Initial Evaluation performed by one of our physical therapists. (Most of our paperwork can be printed off online if you would like to bring in your forms already filled out).

Please wear non-restrictive clothing that allows us both visual and physical access to your injured body part. I.E.: Shorts for hip, knee, ankle injuries or for example a jog bra or loose fitting T-shirt for a shoulder or neck injury. Please wear or bring appropriate and CLEAN shoes (with orthotics if you already have them). You are welcome to change out of your work clothes upon arriving or into your work clothes when your appointment is over

After you are all checked in by our customer service staff, one of our Master’s or Doctorate level trained licensed physical therapists will performed a comprehensive initial evaluation which will include the following:

  • Extensive Subjective History
  • Comprehensive Physical Examination
  • Thorough explanation of your pathology, prognosis and our plan to help you achieve your goals
  • Probable initiation of manual therapy
  • Probable instruction in your initial exercises to be performed at home between visits

If you have a busy schedule, it is a very good idea to schedule out your subsequent appointments well ahead of time to ensure that you get to see the clinician you desire and to get the time slots that work best with your hectic life schedule.

There is a possibility that after your initial evaluation, pending our findings, we may recommend that you see another medical professional for further testing. We have great relationships with world class orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, pediatric orthopedists and spine specialist physicians. If you need surgical intervention, choosing the appropriate surgeon for the job is one of the most important decisions you will need to make.

At first impression, our cancellation policy understandably may seem very harsh. We will charge you if you do not give us 24 hours notice, regardless of reason. Due to extremely low reimbursement rates by most insurance companies, we have to charge you or we will literally go out of business. Our only other alternative is to run a higher volume of patients, which will lead to all of our patients getting sub-standard care. This is a compromise we are NOT willing to make. Thank you for understanding, as this policy ultimately benefits you as annoying as it might be if you have a sudden work meeting that you can’t miss or a sick kid that you must pick up from school.

We understand that being injured is a miserable experience that can often interfere with recreational activities and sports that you are passionate about and that may be even your main outlet for stress management. Runners are not happy when they can’t run without pain and golfers are not happy if they can’t golf without pain. Whether you are an elite athlete with Olympic or Division I aspirations or a grandmother who just wants to be able to go grocery shopping without pain shooting down your leg, we will do our best not only to abolish your pain, but also to help ensure it does not return in the future. Most clients leave our facility on their last day in better shape than even before they sustained their injury.
