We Treat Vestibular Problems

Vestibular rehabilitation can help treat vestibular problems whether the source is from benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) or reduced inner ear function from one or both sides. When organs of the inner ear are damaged or injured, patients can experience sensations of dizziness, vertigo, and/or balance problems due to poor input from the inner ear to the brain. Patients who are older in age, who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents, or experienced sports related head injuries (i.e. concussions) are vulnerable to these symptoms. Vestibular rehabilitation therapy can eliminate dizziness, related to inner ear deficits and also help improve poor balance.
